With the crazy cool modern look of the van and a matching branded postcard for all of Spencer County the new marketing efforts are amazing! SCPL really wanted a “stand out” way to show the county the library is fun and cool! They think we hit it out of the park. Take a look at the van and postcard mailers below.
Challenge: What a great group of people! The Spencer County Library or SPCL for short had an awesome vision for a mobile library vehicle. They didnt just want a plain ol’ white mini van they wanted something that would captivate the people of Spencer County and get them to visit the library! In addition to the new van wrap we SPCL just moved into a brand new building in downtown Taylorsville, Ky. They needed a way to promote the grand opening and get the “word out” about their new location.
Solution: Designing the new van wrap for the Spencer County Library was so fun. They let us have free range in the design and we really wanted to create a design that was noticeable. The design follows the look and design of their new building in downtown Taylorsville. With sharp edges and a modern design we wanted to carry that design over to the new van outreach vehicle. The SPCL logo has 4 colors that we carried over onto the van as well with a strong message that THE LIBRARY IS FUN!
Effect: Since hitting the pavement the new library van has been a huge hit! Parades, school functions and more the van is out in the streets doing its job! We love working withe the library and cant wait to see what is in store for SCPL and Manik Marketing in the future!
